Nicole Perry is a curious, raw FM radio talk show host who created her radio show based on a whim—when a woman she had just met said, “I’ve been listening to you from the other room and you sound like you‘d make a great radio talk show host.” Nicole self-published her debut book, entitled “I Am on a Love Diet,” in May of 2022. Nicole is currently writing her second book and everything Nicole does, including her love diet book, the deck of Powerful Women Reflection oracle cards she created and her podcast, are all focused on supporting the entrepreneurial spirited businesswoman. In her podcast, Nicole takes each listener on a journey by shedding light on a variety of topics, through her guests’ businesses, that anyone in business can relate to. Oh yeah, and Nicole is a 38-year suicide attempt survivor and sprinkles some thought-provoking insight throughout her book [and some shows] on her experience—living with anxiety and depression. Most importantly, intensional awareness around the state of our mental health and the vital truth that every life matters.

Former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, who led the controversial effort to remove Confederate statues from the city and who now runs E Pluribus Unum- a nonprofit focused on advancing racial equity in the south, breaks down how we are divided by design. Race courses through every facet of our lives, yet too few people– particularly white people– truly understand the scale of racism in America, including our history and how racism still permeates today’s institutions. The Divided by Design podcast features discussions with advocates, historians, and experts about how race intersects with health, wealth, criminal justice, housing, and voting rights. By better understanding how we got here to this moment, we can better chart a path forward towards a more just, inclusive and equitable America for us all.
